THE ASK
The Philips All-in-One (AiO) iron and steamer embraces the meaningful & timeless style of people, regardless of trends. It motivates people to take care of and wear the clothes that give them meaning. How do we put that across?
THE SOLUTION
We all have clothes we’ve “ghosted.” A favorite jacket, a shirt from last season, a dress from last week: neglected in the closet even though we still love them.
Our campaign idea was simple: Unghost It. Treasure your clothes and bring them back with Philips AiO.
THE EXECUTION
At the heart of the campaign were personified items of clothing: sad, dejected, and waiting to be brought back to life. We developed scripts, assets, and even pre-production with a director whose Scandinavian humor perfectly matched the dry tone we wanted.
THE GHOSTING
Then, in a painfully ironic ending, the client vanished. The campaign never launched.
We were ghosted.
