Getting ghosted by client on an idea called… Unghost it
THE ASK
The Philips AiO iron and steamer embraces the meaningful & timeless style of people, regardless of trends. It motivates people to take care of and wear the clothes that give them meaning. How do we put that across?
THE SOLUTION
By creating a campaign that encourages you to Unghost your clothes!
We all have clothes that we love. Some have been with us for years, some are from just last season, some might even be from last week. They were our style and made us look good. But we don’t take care of them because we’re mindlessly following fashion trends.
So, let's Unghost the old, new, and everything in between. Treasure your clothes and take care of them with the Philips AiO.
The campaign consisted of countless assets, but the hero was always the personified item of clothing.
”Your favorite old jacket hangs in the corner staring at you with its pockets like drooping eyelids. Sad, dejected, and ghosted. You share an awkward glance, like running into an ex: the one that got away. Your face softens, and the moment of tension dissipates. You decide to Unghost it!”

Excited to work with a director who embodied the ethos of the desert-dry Scandinavian humor we were going for, we couldn’t wait to get the campaign off the ground. In fact, we made it all the way to pre-production.
In a painfully hilarious twist of fate where art-imitates-ads-imitates-life, the client disappeared. Vanished into thin air. We were left in the dark without a project. Sad and dejected.
Ghosted.
You can't make this shit up.
